(In order from our left: Jonas Berggren, Jenny Berggren and Ulf Ekberg)

*Jenny Berggren lives in Gothenburg, Sweden, with her husband Jakob Petrén, their son, and daughter. She volunteers her time to various humanitarian charities. She also has staged several Christian concerts, and sings in churches.
*Jonas Berggren (Jenny's brother) lives in öteborg, Sweden, with his wife Birthe Haugland and they're two children and are expecting their third child.
*Ulf Ekberg has produced several artists, TV productions, films and events. He actively supports projects that focus on child protection and their future around the world including the HIV problem in Africa. He has been involved with several projects together with UNESCO and Save the Children. After Ekberg experienced the tsunami in Phuket, Thailand he founded the Surin Relief Fund to support effected children by providing facilities to school children and care for orphaned children. He has also, during many years, been a strategic advisor to several global consumer brands and active in many "think tanks" both regarding environmental issues and Global Businesses.

When he was younger he was a Neo-Nazi in a 'white power' band called Commit Suiside. In the 1997 documentary "Our Story", Ekberg said "I told everyone I really regret what I done. I closed that book. I don't want to even talk about it, that time does not exist in me any more. I closed it and I threw the book away. I took the experience from it, I learned from it. But that life is not me. It's somebody else."
In 1998, Ekberg again confirmed that he had once been part of a Nazi gang.

"Recent" pic (2002) of former member Linn Berggren:

*Linn is the sister of Jenny and Jonas. On November 30, 2007, Ulf stated in an interview that Malin Berggren had left the band and she would not be featured on the band's new album. The group had already been performing mostly without Linn as a trio for a solid decade before her departure. Linn's image has been removed from all promotional material on the band's official web-site. Band-mate Jenny confirmed Linn's departure in the Danish press: "She hasn't been part of Ace of Base for several years," she stated in Se & Hor magazine.
Other details of Linn's life are unknown to the public.

As of 2008, Ace of Base are recording a new album. The band's manager Lasse Karlsson suggested that a new album would be released in Spring 2008, and could be accompanied by a world tour.
They also have a Myspace (who doesn't?)

Gothenburg and Göteborg are the same place.

The Nazi got hotter as he got older.

I got it from Wikipedia, so maybe it's just a different way of spelling it...?

The Nazi did get hot, if a trifle Val Kilmer-ish.

A few months ago some friends and I were in a car, and "The Sign" came on the radio. We had a total Harold and Kumar/"Hold on" moment as we all shamefacedly started mumbling the lyrics and nodding along to the beat. Finally we realized that everyone knew the song, and burst into full-on singing. It was, to date, one of the most awesome moments of my whole life, and I owe it all to two pretty Swedish girls, a fugly middle aged man, and a skinhead. Ah, the 90s.
