Kid Nation (2007) - Then & Now

Remember Kid Nation? It was a reality show that aired on CBS in 2007, featuring 40 children aged 8 to 15 attempting to create a functioning society with minimal adult help and supervision. It was interesting, controversial, and ridiculous all in one, and the best/worst part was that the idea for a second season was nixed due to legal child labor problems (!).
Well, I always wondered what happened to those kids, so for my very first post ever, I tracked down pictures of almost all of them. Enjoy!!!

Psst, your cut isn't working so nothing is showing up :)

Oh, never mind. I figured it out. Derp.

And editing a 3rd time to say awesome post. Jared looks exactly the same only with more hair haha. I liked this show and was hoping for a second season, but oh well. Thanks for the post!

Re: Alex, he attended the Davidson Academy for the Gifted...apparently he graduated this year and plans to go to Phillips Exeter Academy, per this newsletter.

You'd think that graduation would mean going on to college, but I guess since he's so young - I think he's only 14 or so now - he's going on to a different rigorous high school instead?

ETA: This is him in 2011 (he's in the middle, I'm sure, since he looks exactly the same, although the pic identifies him as the guy on the left):

I got that picture from this article.

Damn I forgot about that show! I loved it. So weird. And I went to DePauw so I was excited to see that one girl goes there.

I have never heard of this show, ever, but apparently one of the kids is from my hometown and went to my high school (much later than me)? Actually, now that I think about it, he might have actually been the kid of my favorite 10th grade teacher.

I've never heard of this show, but it's fun looking at the pics and seeing how the kids grew up nonetheless. Fantastic post!
