Alice In Wonderland

A young girl named Alice has many zany adventures with her friends in a magical world on the other side of her looking glass.

I was just reminded of this show and thought it would be fun to do a post on it. It aired back in 1991 on I believe Disney. Hopefully I'm not the only one who remembers, haha. I checked the memories but didn't see anything for it :)

First is Alice, played by Elisabeth Harnois. Elisabeth's first acting credit is One Magic Christmas back in 1985 at the age of 6 and had been in a number of things until landing the role of Alice in 1991 at 12. Since then she's been in a ton of things, mostly guest spots on television. Recently she was in 2 episodes of 90210, she's credited as being in 2 movies that are in post-production. What I know her from, was Ten Inch Hero back in 2007.

Tweetle Dee and Tweetle Dum, Tweetle Dum was played by Robert Berry Fleming and Tweetle Dee by Harry Waters Jr. Unfortunately I couldn't find any recent pictures of either of them. They both seemed to have stopped working in 1997; Robert with an appearance on L.A. Confidential and Harry with Boys Life 2.

Teri Garr as Duchess. I don't remember this character and I couldn't find a screencap, but I think we all know who Teri Garr is. Her IMDb is extensive, though her last credit is for 2007 when she appeared in God Out The Window. Unfortunately in 2006 she suffered a stroke :( There's an interview here you should check out (thanks to [info]chumpthreads for the link)

The Mad Hatter John Hoffman. Pretty sure he was my favorite! As an actor his last credit is from 1997 but he's been writing, with the latest being this years Academy Awards, or last years Igor.

Reece Holland portrayed the March Hare. He seems to have been making the rounds in musical theatre, having gained a Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award nomination for his lead performance in A Man Of No Importance. Instead of a picture (there's one included though), here's a vid of him singing from Phantom Of the Opera

The Cheshire Cat (voiced by Richard Kuhlman - last credit as an actor in 2 episodes of 2009's Trust Me) After an unfortunate accident involving Dormouse, the Queen of Hearts and the business end of a broom, Chesh is no longer with us.*

Dormouse (voiced by John Lovelady - last credit is AiW) Suffering from PTSD after nearly being eaten alive, Dormouse packed his bags and moved to a nice tea kettle in the country where no cats could harm him and he could sleep away his pain. He may have also hit the bottle now and again to take the edge off, but who can blame him really?*

Wesley Mann played Caterpiller. He's one of those people you see and think Oh hey, it's that guy. You may recognize him from That's So Raven or Drake & Josh. His last credit is 2005 for Veronica Mars.

The Red Queen was played by Armelia McQueen. I actually remember her better as the judge on Fresh Prince of Bel Air thanks to marathon airings on NickatNite. Her last acting credit is from 2008 in The Hustle

The White Rabbit, played by Patrick Richwood, would always zoom around on roller blades. Patrick has accumulated quite a few roles over the years, movies and guests on shows, and even some theatre. His latest role is in this years Hungry For Love, playing the character of Hambone.

First post, a little boring but I got my feet wet :P Thanks for looking!

In December 2006, Garr suffered a brain aneurysm that affected her speech and motor skills, leaving her unable to work while she endured intense physical rehabilitation

There's a great, recent, interview with her here.

I don't remember the show, but I do remember those opening credits. I probably haven't seen those in almost twenty years.

Hang on, I listened to the video of the March Hare and what he's singing are you sure it's from Man of No Importance?

I looked up the musical soundtrack and movie soundtrack for that name, and All of Me does not show up.

'All of Me' is from the Broadway play Phantom of the Opera which is a very famous play.

Was wanting to help there with names :)

Ah, okay! I just did a search on YouTube when I saw he was in theatre and figured there might be something. I'll edit the post for corrections, thank you!

I remember Elisabeth Harnois from My Date With the President's Daughter.

I loved this show! My favorite episode was the one with the Bingo tournament and the Red Queen cheating but then feeling bad about it.

I have a distinct memory of being so frightened by one episode that I couldn't look outside when it was dark for awhile. What episode or why it was so scary, though, I couldn't say. I did love this show. =]

I've seen a few of these "where are they now"s for AIW and it still amuses me that people are making them and remember the show.
