Side note: It took me forever to find recent photos of Leslie. She had a myspace with supposedly a lot of "slutty" pictures, but it's now deleted. She is still doing Pageants. The two men in the 'then' photos is her dad and his ex boyfriend/hair and makeup artists (http://mrmichaelbutler.com is her dads website). The only information I can find about Leslie now is that she is a whore and sleeps around, has threesomes at parties, thought she was pregnant at 12, slept with 4 guys by the age of 11...

If you haven't seen this HBO documentary then I really recommend you do! You can find it on YouTube

She looks so OLD.. and that stuff about her being a major whore is like sad.. but if I knew her I probably wouldn't like her.

I'm sorry but there's something very john mark karr about the way he holds some of the girls in those shoots. Alot of people go for this sort of thing, but I firmly believe that these people who sexualize their toddlers are are sickening. The whole pageant thing makes me sick.

A lot of these poor kids are so screwed up as a result. Some of the shows I've seen on it really grossed me out. Beauty queens as young as 3, fed M & M's and soda before a pageant so they're all hyper right before, when they're clearly tired. Then made to do yoga and exercise to stay fit. Not being allowed to play outside in the dirt. Makes me sick. Let them be kids. You want to play barbies.. get BARBIES!!!!

Try the 0-18 months category. Sick. This girl was in her first pageant at three weeks old.

There are just no words.

Ew, she looks like 30. There is nothing flattering about looking double your age.

I just watched this documentary, and holy crap. Sick. I understand that pageants can help boost confidence, but please, find a way to do that other than prostituting your child, so you can feel validated when they win.

Baby beauty parades make me sick. When I was little, there was a pageant at the mall near me, so I begged my mom over and over and over to please let me do it, and she finally gave in. She made my dress for like, under thirty bucks, she did my hair and makeup (we're talking a little bit of blush and some pink lipstick, because my mom was not putting mascara and eyeliner on a five-year-old), and she let me have my fun of prancing around on a stage. I just found my evaluation forms a few months ago, and the judges said stuff like, "Very pretty, but never a pageant queen" and stuff like that. I mean, come on, who says that to a five-year-old?! Luckily for my mom, my desire for pageants stopped at that one, and I think I got a photogenic award or something like that. Who cares? I transferred my need to be on stage to theater, and amazingly, I don't look or act like a slut with no brains.

Wow, this comment is like a little history lesson about my life. I'm sure you all were just dying to know.

I saw the documentary today, and I absolutely fell in love with Swan.
She is one of the most adorable little girls I have ever seen.
It's so sad that her mother put her through all of that, even though she said that's what she wanted, she was just a little girl! She should have been in school learning how to read and write instead of staying home learning routines and songs, and how to smile and properly wave and stuff.
I'm a preschool teacher, and my two year old students can count past 10, and Swan's mother said she couldn't, that's crazy!
I really wish I could see what she looks like now, and know how she's doing.
I hope she's ok, and not messed up in the head or anything, she was so cute and innocent! One of my favorite things she said was with the little boy, and the reporter asked how she knew him and she said "We met when we were buying beanie babies together". How cuuuuteeee!
I googled her but I couldn't find anything on her! =/
Hopefully somebody can.

Was anyone else who watched the documentary disturbed by her laying down on her teletubbies blanket and giving the camera a pose and a coy look? I was like oh my god, you are 7, don't try to be a nymphet!

she kinda looks like Mercedes McNab, back in the days of Addams Family Values.

Wow. Is the fact that I remember that movie saying something about my age/taste?

I found Swan's sister, Silva's myspace. It's private, though. :(
Sucky private profiles

I remember that documentary! Didn't they make her wear fake teeth!?
And wow, it sucks that she turned out to be such a slut. And I think that because they put so much make up on her as a child, and made her look so grown up, it's hard to even tell a difference in her face in the recet pictures.
